Böhtlingk architectuur benadert het werk zoals een uitvinder dat doet: een sterk idee uitwerken tot in detail. Wij maken vaste en mobiele werken die soms in één opdracht samen vallen. Böhtlingk architecture approaches the work in the same way an inventor does: foremost a strong idea tailor-made to its function. We make both permanent and mobile buildings, which sometimes coincide in one assignment.
OPENhouse in use
The OPENhouse had it’s festive opening by Mick Eekhout and the grandson of Eduard Böhtlingk, Jurre. In conjunction with the Markies this location will become a hotspot for mobile architecture.
The OPENhoues is a large white box (3x10m) containing on one side a complete glass sliding facade. As it is positioned at the edge of the garden, interior and garden space will become one. Furniture and facilities like toilet and shower are situated on the opposite side of the glass facade in a “furniture-wall”. Depending on needs, elements can be folded out. In- and outside curtains provide for privacy and space seperation. A multitude of uses are possible; holiday home, office space, conference room and even a stage for concerts.
